Grays Hockey 4x4

From Grays Hockey @Grayshockey #TeamGrays

In my spare time when I am not playing field hockey I like to spend time with my friends, watch tv, and explore new places like coffee shops and new restaurants. When we have even longer breaks from hockey, I like to head home to Beverly, Massachusetts and spend as much time as I can with my parents Jack and Betsy, and my brother and sister Mike and Corinne.

What I aspire to do in the future is help grow the sport of field hockey here in the US. More in particular I am passionate about growing the sport in my hometown area given that it really isn't a popular sport. I hope to one day run a series of clinics all throughout New England where kids can try the sport absolutely free. My club team that I played for in high school is one of the few club teams in our area that does a wonderful job getting young kids introduced to the sport and providing them with clinics, leagues and tournaments to play in. When I was a kid, I wanted to do everything my sister did given that I am only three years younger than her. If she played soccer, I wanted to play soccer. When she decided to switch to field hockey, so did I. This is a picture from my first year on a soccer team when I was about 5 years old. Something that most people may not know about me is that I grew up playing ice hockey until I graduated from high school. Playing both sports at the same time definitely helped me focus on similar movements while working my body in different ways. Although I have made my main focus on the field, I still love to watch ice hockey and get onto a sheet of ice as often as I can.
