Try Field Hockey For Free With Nicole Woods

Since I have began playing field hockey I have always looked for more ways to get involved and play. As I climbed the ranks of The USA Field Hockey Pipeline I have noticed that our New England Region has way fewer numbers than other regions such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey. I can't help but think how many talented players from New England have potential to grow in this sport, but might never pick up a field hockey stick. 

This is why I will be offering various FREE clinics throughout New England to players that have Never played field hockey before. 

The Goal:

My goal is to offer kids of any age the possibility to be coached by me, and to be given a free stick and ball so they can continue to practice themselves. 

How:

I will be accepting stick donations from any player that has an extra stick laying around.

I will be accepting donations from local businesses that would like to help us raise money for turf rentals, equipment, and possibly a fund to raffle off the registration fee to a summer field hockey camp that is run by a local club team/program. 

We had originially intended to have the free clinics over 2020 but due to COVID it has just been too difficult. So In the meantime, we will be working even harder to bring it to life in the future. There is a donation area which will go 100% towards purchasing equipment for future players of the game and solidifying locations plus ensuring that each athlete will be safe while being introdued to our wonderful sport.
